SO MUCH LOVE AND LUCK IN THE HOUSE for my first wedding of 2011 ( YES, I DO have more 2010 weddings to blog, I am still milking them ). Gina and Rhett were so obviously made for each other, what an honor to capture their special day !
Just so many delicious ingredients for the valentines days wedding ! Gina, a remarkable girl, is so full of life and spunk AND A DOCTOR to boot. The minute I met her I desperately wanted to shoot her wedding. Add her now husband, Rhett to the mix and it was just the ideal wedding. These two had one of the BEST venues, The Citizen Hotel, one of the VERY BEST coordinators, the lovely and talented Lora Ward from A DAY TO REMEMBER. Matt Bryce from Extreme Productions did the lighting ( love ) , D.j -ing and was their officiant ( and coat check guy and he was a mid-wife to 3 children born that night…kidding ). I loves me some Matt Bryce, thats all I’m sayin’. And if things could not have gotten any better, Katie from Ambience made the day most beautiful with her flowers. But wait…don’t order yet, because we also got mr. sun shining his face to make our light oh so yummie and I was able to bring Carmen to shoot the wedding with me. Carmen is such a cool gal as well as a very talented photographer. I could go on and on, but suffice to say…MAMA LIKES :
Just Endless places to shoot in an around the Citizen Hotel, really a photographers dream location.
Yes…the alley can be a bit ‘pungent’ at times : )
How cute is Rhett. Just sheer delight to work with !
I LOVE this shot Carmen got of Gina reading her vows before the ceremony. Priceless !
Dig at the expression on Matt’s face !
BEAUTIFUL !!!
I LOVE this photo !!!
The dance floor was so packed the guest were literally dancing all over the place.
FUN FACT: MY last wedding of last year and first wedding of this year was at the Citizen Hotel with Lora and Matt, dare I be so bold to say ‘ The dream team was in the house’.
Miss Beth… you may certainly say the dream team was in the house. And to work with the dream couple was the cherry on top. Thanks for your fabulous talent. And I would say, part of the evening that made it for me, was seeing the break-out of groups dancing between the tables in any space that was open. Matt did rock the house.
They are soooooooooo beautiful!!!! Great job!
Thanks for letting me tag along friend! I love love loved his wedding vows to her!
