Climb every mountain

O.k end of the year and perhaps my blog titles are not so witty….. go figure.
I say this again and again, often I ponder that I can not believe my good fortune. In life, love and work, I am blessed indeed. Shooting for Sacramento Magazine is truly one of my favorite things to do, I love getting a peek into peoples lives. Here are a few of the assignments I have done over the past few months :
Deirdre Fitzpatrick from KCRA , omg did we LOVE this lady, beauty was just one of her attributes, she is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. We had a great time shooting this on the Citizen Balcony. One of the best make-up artists Sheri Morris owner of Brushworx Makeup Artistry was in the house making me look good with her great make-up work and she brought the talented and uber cool Dacy Mc Whorter to help style the shoot.

And Nick Adorno, just the cutest kid ever ! What a treat getting to take his photo. We took loads of photos at the theatre, but the image they choose was shot at my beloved Image Provocateur’s salon in downtown Roseville. My friend Dana Schleth was doing a fashion shoot there so I horned in and used some of her lighting. Dana Rules. Again here is the one the magazine ran and a few favorites:

Talk about a dream job ! Louis Warfield from Rhino Design Studio gets to design and construct cool stuff and get paid for it. I was fascinated by his cool toys. A giant robot AND elephant, come on !


AND…. the Effervescent Melissa Crowley from News 10 Sacramento and Company was just pure joy to photograph ! Just a delightful gal full of life and spunk. The good folks at at California Backyards in Natomas were kind enough to allow us to use their lavish Christmas display for the shoot. Fun fact, the jumping and clowing around, that was ALL Melissa !
