Liz Berkley ( a.ka Liz Biz-zerk-ley as Shannon and I nickname her ) is not ONLY smart and pretty, she is ALSO a talented opera singer and quite possibly one of the nicest people on earth. Her now husband Joe, also super nice, is also a talented musician, so how perfect is that. He really held up well while taking photos in the extreme heat : )
This was one of the best weddings ever, a match made in heaven. Yes….Liz IS a nice Catholic girl….but that did not mean she was not up for some of my ‘funky stuff’ on her special day.
The amazing Shannon of Flourish and now Fancy Pants Weddings blog made the day beautiful with her floral art and fresh ideas. and Brandon and Kami from Sound Image are just a BLESSING to any wedding. Super duper great to work with, Kami was even helping me with my equipment whilst 8 months pregnant. I love my vendor friends, they make my life and photos more beautiful.:
Ahhh, there were sooo many of these from the Sac City Ink tattoo shop that I wanted to post, priceless. How much do you LOVE Liz Berkley ? The owners of this shop went out of their way to be nice to us. MUCH APPRECIATED !

More fun facts: I have known Liz since she was about seven years old. I sat next to her brother, Josh, (dude rockin’ the sweet mullet in the school picture) in math class when I was in high school. I met my husband when he was the drummer for The Rosebuds and Liz’s bro Josh was the bassist way back in the early 90’s. GOOD TIMES!!!
