I was so EXCITED to shoot Suzanne and Mikes wedding at their families RICE FARM. I fell madly in love with Suzanne and her Mom when they came to meet me. Suzanne lights up like a christmas tree every time she smiles, just the most delightful gal you will ever meet. What a shin dig they had with 400 guests. So many cute details and remarkable photo opts including the most beautiful sunset a person could ever witness. What a blessed day indeed, it was everything I dreamed it would be !
Love this photo from my second shooter Michelle Shiftlet !
I LOVE this photo, the sheer joy !
O.K really ? Little girls in white dresses dancing in a circle…yes…really !
Great spots galore !
Mike the hard working farmer and groom was not getting why I thought things like tractors were so arty : )
One of my all time favorites
Dig that sunset !
LUCKILY my friends at Encore Entertainment were able to cover the event at the LAST minute when their previous person could not make it ( that is me nicely saying they flaked ). Encore saved the day.
The sunset was so magnificent, watching go down was truly a memorable end to a perfect day.
Yikes, I still have weddings to blog from 2010 ? Who does that ? Me I guess. This wedding was a gem I tell you, so it needed some time in the sun. There was in fact NO sun for Megan and John’s nov. wedding, but no worries, we worked it out like nobodies bees wax. If you look up ‘ soul mates’ in the dictionary, there is a photo of Megan and John. Loving these two is EASY cause they are positively one of the most terrific couples on earth. Their wedding at North Ridge Country Club ruled ! They had their Ketubha signing followed by a ceremony under the Chuppah with so many beautiful moments. Much love and joy filled their special night. And much joy came from the fact that my bff Sarah Maren ( yes, you heard it right ) shot the wedding with me. Lucky !!!
This was the credo of their favorite soccer team, you will NEVER walk alone ! True DAT !
I dig the little spider web inside the flower : )
One of my all time favorite photos EVERRRRRRRR
Love this shot by none other than Sarah Maren Whitehead.
Question : Beth, what was your FAVORITE part of Anthony and Jessica’s wedding ?
Answer: The look on Anthony’s face when ever he looked at Jessica.
Question: What else moved you ?
Answer: The way their friends and family adored them and went out of their way to show them love on their special day.
Omg the LOVE between these two was magically delicious. What a great wedding to kick off 2010. I was so thankful they choose me to capture their big day in Oakdale, CA.
This SUPER CUTE couple had the perfect day.
If the rest of my 2010 weddings go this well I will be one happy camper, I want to share 302 of their photos with you…but narrowed it down to more like 32 :
Great view from Jessica’s parents house backyard, yummie !
I Jessica and her girls were so fun, gotta love the big green open spaces in oakdale.
Anthony Stonehocker was such a great groom, so organized and ready. He made my day. Loved him to bits ! He was a groomsman from a past wedding, referals rule : )
Please note the groom-man love and joy
FUN FUN FUN bridal party !
I was also touched by the brotherly love coming from Anthony’s big brother, one of the another ‘favorite’ parts of the day.
I remember the first time I saw shannon, it was MANY years ago, she was bringing in her flowers to show the bride. The joy on her face was so memorable, like a kid bringing home an art project to their mom. She obviously had so much pride in her work.
I have often wanted to blog about my super cool vendor friends, but wondered…
How in the world could I EVER do a blog post about Shannon from Flourish. It would be impossible. First off we have done 1.4 million jobs, so how could I post just a few photos. And how could a person sing her praises, it would be a like a novel to read…
O.k I will try. Shannon rules the world. She is : adorable, funny, smart, beautiful, talented, creative, kind, loving, giving, witty, and one of my best friends.
Talk about a renaissance woman, she is this amazing florist, mother, wife and friend, but wait a minute, don’t order yet, because you also get budding photographer, card maker, and now BLOGGER.
Her new blog FANCY PANTS WEDDINGS is the talk of the town. Get clicking people.
I like to keep my posts short and sweet and filled with loads of photos, here are a few images from our last ‘hot fashion model’ shoot:
And alas… Shannon ( aka Nonnie butter, Nonista, Shannona rider ):
MAKE UP BY THE FAB SHANA BEALS, love you Shana !
FANCY PANTS GRAPHICS BY THE TERRIFIC STEPHANIE J DESIGNS
FUN FACT : Shannon and I give all of our mutual brides nicknames, so if you hire us both..you have a nick name : )
Raise your hand if you do NOT like a good love story. Everyone LOVES a touching love story right ? I am in the unique position to witness many a touching love story. The love between Carie and Dereck was palitable. They were a very special couple, so very happy and in love. But what touched my soul was the love story between father and son. Their son, Brady ( please tell me you now get my Brady Bunch reference of my title ), was lucky to have found the perfect dad in Derek. Carie told me ‘it was love at first site’ for ALL THREE OF THEM. Derek had such an amazing family growing up, on his wedding day he was surrounded by TONS of aunts and uncles that raised him, not having his dad in his life was not an issue, but that fact makes him want to be a better dad. Oh how I Adored this very special family.
Their wedding at Roseville Sun City’s Timber Creek Ballroom went off without a hitch, my beloved EXTREME Productions did the entertainment as well as the lighting. Three words about Extreme: Fab -u-lous ! As you may know, PHOTOGRAPHERS LOVE UP-LIGHTING ! Dominic ‘Omen’ from Extreme nailed it as usual. Love you Extreme folks !
Please to enjoy the following magic moments :
Ahhh, the BEST part of the day was the moment Carie walked down the isle with Brady by her side. Derek LOST it, I LOVE this part, hands down my favorite thing in the world.
Carie LOVED this image of her and her super cute husband, she said such nice things about her photos, LOVED YOU CARIE !
Both cool shots from my cool second shooter Dana ‘Inga’ Schuleth.
Derek’s Aunts and Uncles were a big part of the day, it took a whole village to raise Derek : )
Taking it back to my 1996 roots here : )
Total SCORE getting the sunset !
FUN FACT: Carie’s Dad officiated the ceremony
