One last engagement session hurrah for the year 2012 ! Travis and Lacey are about the nicest, cutest, most fun couple on the earth, so I was thrilled to get some sunshine to capture their love on this other wise rainy day. It was literally pouring rain a hour before their session, so it was such a gift to be able to shoot with some beautiful light. Again, these two are pure goodness and light and were about the best subject a gal could ever have. We are all excited about their up-coming wedding this summer at the Citizen Hotel. Enjoy a small taste of their true love engagement session :
Of course I had to add a bit of my ‘ funk ‘ into the mix.
Her friend Amanda came along to help out, really a great idea !
Um crazy in love…me with this photo that is, oh they were crazy in love also for the record.
Sun and rain and a spider man kiss, let me count the ways of how I love thee : )
This was Lacey’s grandfathers blanket so it has special meaning, and we jacked the idea off pinterest, who are we kidding here ?
This reminded me of a movie set, like the happy ending of a love story.
Just about the most perfect engagement session ever know to man kind, Nweni ( a.k.a ‘ New ‘ ) and Chris were ideal in every way. This couple LITERALLY ( said like Chris Traeger from Parks and Rec ) had the best engagement session ever : ) I LOVED how we really mixed it up. We had such a great time and now I am even more excited about their fall 2013 wedding at Arden Hills. These two are soul mate and truly in love and I am in love with them !! Yet again people…LIFE IS GOOD :
Yeah, probably best not to ask about the chicken.
Fun fact, this is the park I grew up in, who would have thought it would have made the best retro baseball background ?
Why there is always one ‘ prison’ looking photo in the bunch, not sure : )
OH how Mama likes ! Such a cute engagement session. We had a blast. Beautiful and vivacious Kacee is going to marry super cute and completely adorable Micah next January at my beloved Citizen Hotel. Since they are going to get the cool urban feel for the wedding she opted for the sunny country feel of her childhood home for their engagement session. They love to cook hence their fun save the date idea. A big thanks to my much appreciated college intern Carrie for helping me out for this shoot, she is graduating this May from Sacramento State College and I am very proud of her.
Here is their love in photos :
Um…the cutest !
Kacee said I could put the ‘ I do ‘ stuff anywhere except on their faces. LOL.
I CRAZY love this one !
Oh how I LOVE to blog about engagement session, I wish that I could blog every one… but not possible. I am able to do a few and this one sure made my heart pitter patter. What a sweet couple. Heather and Joshua are highschool sweethearts and are getting married next September at Arden Hills. Heather was inspired by the end scene of the movie ‘ 50 First dates’ for her engagement session, I love her cute yellow dress and picnic basket. Seeing the love between these two makes me want their wedding to hurry up already. Feast you eyes on these two lovely folks:
See what I mean about how cute they are ?
This was a ‘happy accident’
Note the word ‘circa’ on the bottom of Heather’s shoes, that is my cats name.
You have to love a couple that packs wine !
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS !
Yes…sadley there always seems to be one ‘prison’ photo in my body of work from each session…..
Nicole and I have been in contact for MANY years, she told me oh so many years ago that she wanted me to shoot her wedding, we just needed to find our Mr. right to make this come to fruition : )
Tadaaaa, enter Todd. I could have asked for any better match for my beloved Nicole. They were sooooooo much fun, dripping with warm and fuzzy yummie love ! I dug Todd’s cool tat’s and Nicole is such a beauty. These to cool kids are getting married this June at McClellan’s General’s Garden ( I love this spot )
We created magic people and I have the proof :
I told them I had to add a few ‘bunnies and kittens’ shots in the mix 🙂
How scrumptious are they ? You want to spread them on a cracker right ?
photos with heart and soul
