And My super cool Slideshow :
If I had nickle for every time a person said to Travis ” you are so lucky to have a girl like Samara ” I would have cleared 30 cents easy. I was included in the people saying how Lucky Travis was to have Samara. She was as beautiful inside as she was out. This couple was pure delight thought the entire wedding relationship. My fondest memories were during the ceremony, it so heartfelt and vivacious. Samara was also a smart cookie who choose some awesome vendors to make her day AWESOME. I LOVE working at the Hyatt Hotel , adore her talented make-up artist Christi Reynolds ( she is one of the best in the area ) and greatly admire her baker, the one and only Sweet Cakes by Rebecca. Also her D. J was INCREDIBLE. Super lighting as well as a unique wedding experience. Much thanks to Behind the Scene Sounds for making their evening so memorable. And lest we not forget who did her BEAUTIFUL flowers, one of my favorite florists Visual Impact. Life is good and so was this wedding !
Did I mention Samara was STUNNING ?
I heart Visual Imact !
I love this shot by my second shooter Michelle. Love you Shifty !
This photo as well as several others from this wedding are in this months OUR WEDDING magazine. This guy was so good, I thought it was a recording at first.
Dear Sweet Cakes by Rebecca, I love you ! Sincerely, Beth B.
There were several of the cake photos that were so funny, here is just one : )
Also soooooooooo many great dancing photos !
THIS FUN AND COLORFUL SHOOT ! What a lovely collaboration of vendors. Shot at one of my favorite venues,
David Girard Vineyards, I loved the way the ladies at Mimi & Co Luxurious Linens pulled this whole thing together. Their intention for the shoot was to show off their beautiful linens, mission accomplished. My beloved Beth Sogaard from Beth Sogaard’s Catering created some incredible culinary delights, Super star cake artist Rebecca from Sweet Cakes by Rebecca made that fun cake, and the talented and effervescent Jajuan from Design with Florae’ did the florals. Much thanks to Celebrations Party Rentals for lending us their goods. Girl power all the way. This felt like a great way to brighten this cold rainy winter day and give all of the spring and summer brides some great colorful ideas :
Beth Sogaard looking super cute !
What Rebecca and her team from Sweet Cakes by Rebecca can do with some white flour, butter, sugar and some color is AMAZING ! This gal is an artist. One can feel her deep passion for her work and love of her creations. And if that were not enough to sway you, Rebecca and her husband Hector and sisters are some of the best people you will ever meet. I was so touched by their love and support of each other when shooting her ‘ spring collection’ in my studio. I am so happy for their success. Here are some of my favorite shots:
These were delish ! Under the art was an oreo !
SUCH CUTE DETAILS ! Amie and Johnny had such great style for their wedding at The Citizen Hotel. They had such great everything really, I LOVED their cute happy bridal party, SWEET CAKE and FUN reception. In addition to being incredibly beautiful, our Amie is also brainy, she just got her doctorate ! And Johnny was also deep and soulful as well as super cute and a great subject. Just a slam dunk all the way. I especially loved working with Tom Fretwell, he has such a unique way of making a party fun. And he lighting kicked butt. Man alive could I go on and on and on about how cool this couple was and how much I simply adored their wedding but as usual, me thinks you would love it if I shut up and showed you the $$$ ( aka photos )
Johnny was such a good subject right ? Move over Megan Fox !
Don’t you just love her colors and bridesmaid dresses ? So cute !
Deeply in love with this SWEET cake by…wait for it….SWEET CAKES BY REBECCA. We are all a tiny bit obsessed with Rebecca and her artistic cake making abilities.
Such cute details !
I thought it was SO funny when I was having this groomsman do a photo with one of their lollipops and I heard someone say ‘ I think the photographer likes him’. He was adorable that is for sure.
I heart this photo !
The Big Bang did an exceptional job on her flowers.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the yellow up-lighting ! Great job Tom Fretwell !
DEEPLY in love with this photo !
