In case you are wondering why the sudden loyal blogging, well I accepted a blog challenge to blog every week lest I loose $100 and that is NOT going to happen. Great way to show my recent work and express my love and gratitude for my beloved wedding couples. I loved this wedding so very much. Kyla and Patrick were the bees knees of wedding couples. Their beautiful and classy wedding had so many fabulous elements such as my favorite gals at Alluring events ( they were so so awesome ), the arty historic Crocker Art Museum and the extremely hip Beatnik venue, the sweetest and best make-up gals at All Dolled Up and the truly talented Botanica floral. And we were lucky enough to get that delicious winter sun. Yay yay double yay for all of the beauty and love involved. Enough words, photos please.
Where TO begin when one speaks about the true love of Jenny and Meliss ! Darling, fun, very happy ladies, so full of life and love for each other and their new family unit. When they came to meet me at my studio they did not have a venue so we booked them at OUR VENUE ( O.K not really mine, but I rent the upstairs space ) Their wedding at The Antique Mansion Privee was so very heartfelt. Rick at Visions Entertainment rocked their reception like a hurricane. They did in fact ‘jump around’ and as you can see everyone had a blast. Please note Jenny’s Sparkle Bridal gown ! I love all things Sparkly and Sparkle Bridal is at the top of my list as they cater to the gals with curves. And a shout out to Simple Country Weddings for adding their beautiful touches to the mix. Enjoy this one in a million love story !
A fun bright colorful super hero themed birthday party ? YES PLEASE !! One of my favorite parts of my job is to be able to capture events of all kinds. This birthday party did not disappoint ! With a magic show, face painting, a balloon artist, character drawing, games of all kinds and all manor of sugary treats. KMK designs rocked this event with their attention to every detail. Beautiful little Amrita had a day she will now remember with these jamming photos:
Add drumming to yoga and you have AMAZING. I was over the moon to do this commercial shoot for this start up company Yoga and the Beat. I enjoyed these two yogis more than words can express. And I for one can not wait to try this cool fun new class. Life is good indeed. Heather and Nate are the real deal. Husband and wife and loving life. Their new site will launch very soon and I can not wait to see how they used these images. Oh happy day !
Engagement session are one of my favorite gigs. I love being able to do ‘ all the things ‘ our beautiful and vibrant city has to offer and capturing the couples essence. This Engagement session was one of those times. Kyla and Patrick were simply the best. Coffee lovers and madly in love, we were smitten with them from the go get. They will be married NEXT WEEKEND at The Crocker Art Museum ( yay ) and my friends at Alluring events will be there to keep it all together. Stay tuned for part two of this happy couple when we get to show off their wedding photos. Whoot !!!!
