Oh how I LOVE to blog about engagement session, I wish that I could blog every one… but not possible. I am able to do a few and this one sure made my heart pitter patter. What a sweet couple. Heather and Joshua are highschool sweethearts and are getting married next September at Arden Hills. Heather was inspired by the end scene of the movie ‘ 50 First dates’ for her engagement session, I love her cute yellow dress and picnic basket. Seeing the love between these two makes me want their wedding to hurry up already. Feast you eyes on these two lovely folks:
See what I mean about how cute they are ?
This was a ‘happy accident’
Note the word ‘circa’ on the bottom of Heather’s shoes, that is my cats name.
You have to love a couple that packs wine !
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS !
Yes…sadley there always seems to be one ‘prison’ photo in my body of work from each session…..
ITS OUR WEDDING !!! YEAHHHHHH ! First off, picture me in a quiet office area letting out a big YEAHHHHH when the good folks at the Our Wedding magazine told me I got the cover/ fashion shoot for their summer fall issue. I was thrilled beyond words, things were great and they were only getting better. If you have not been to the new Crocker Art Museum you really should visit, this place is stunning. So to be given the gift of shooting a high fashion shoot with amazing models and a top stylist, the best hair and make-up people with endless beautiful dresses, jewelry and flowers at the Crocker…I mean dream come true ! I loved the photos they picked for the magazine, and here are a few more:
So excited Shannon from Flourish got her super hot broach bouquet on the cover, go nono !
I can not possibly thank all the folks involved in this shoot enough, such pros !
Make-up : Brushworx ( I love what they call Sherri Morris )
Hair: Tina Romo ( aka Tina Roma, inside jokes )
Stylist to the stars: Sarah Kreutz
Dresses: Caren Templet
Flowers: Flourish ( Shannon has about 8 nicknames, nono being the most current )
Magazine Art Director/ Designer and loved one: Gabe Teague
Models Michelle Casagrande and Beck Trumbo from Cast Images ( really the best agency ever, love love love them )
Unbelievable love festival going on here people ! Yeah yeah yeah, Brian and Kristin are soul mates and madly in love, but the love between photographer and wedding couple.. that is my focus here ! These two are just dreamy in soooooooooo many way. Their wedding at the FABULOUS Citizen Hotel could not have been ANY better. With Matt from Extreme Productions doing their lighting and entertainment and my treasured bestie Sarah shooting the wedding with me ( this is likened to winning the bridal lottery ) , it was the best day ever. We are all making out as we speak. I know you do not want me to blather on any more about how awesome this couple was so bring on the photos.
The look on Brians face…priceless !
Of course we had to work my favorite alley spot.
LOVE the photo on the right, one of my favorites ever.
FUN FACT: Sarah and I joked that Kristen should write a ‘ how to be the coolest bride on earth’ guide.
photos with heart and soul
